Is is safe to eat leftover food/soup left out on the stove overnight?

Don't you think they shouldn't minus your points just for asking a question? I mean, thats probably discouraging people from asking questions, and I thought everyone said asking questions is healthy! Teachers especially say this. I dont know, I just recently joined, and I was taken aback at how they decrease your number of points every time you ask a question. In my experience with other question/answer sites, if anything they rewarded you for asking a question. Does yahoo do this to prevent useless questions, or what? Whats your view on this?

the other day i was browsing my computer and i noticed homosexual pornography in my browsing history, i was taken aback to say the least, i disregarded it, but just yesterday, i walked in on my son masturbating to an episode of GLEE. I'm a proud Texan that lives in a republican household with strong moral fiber, so i don't know what to do. We restricted his internet access and he is grounded for an indeterminable amount of time. the parking brake light came on while driving. (parking brake is off for sure) the speedometer went up to 70 then aback down then back up, (while going 40mph) the RPMs never went up when this happened.
